About me… what is it about me that I want to tell you?

I hate mornings and I hate coffee, unless it’s frou frou and full of flavored cream and caramel syrup

I don’t think it’s ever too late to watch a movie with my husband, even though he doesn’t get home till midnight and I have to get up around 6 with the kids.

My three shops on Etsy show just a small portion of my creativity- things that happened to make it into fruition.

I adore using interesting words like fruition, hegemony and noodle.

I never got motion sickness until I had my kids.

I drink Dr. Pepper like some people drink water, and I do it even though I know what the sugar is doing to my teeth.

I am saving up for a tummy tuck, but I don’t know if I’ll actually follow through because I watch Dr. 90210 and it freaks me out.

I think my mom just might be the best person I’ve ever met.

I sometimes spend hours composing the perfect playlist on iTunes.

I sometimes spend hours wishing spiders didn’t exist.

I love Jesus with all my little heart can hold.

I am Gracelynne and Michael’s mother, I am Gailen’s wife.  I am a transplant from the West Coast.  I am the girl in high school who no one remembers and I am okay with that.  I am best friends with the same person for over 15 years.  I am lightning storms and homemade caramel corn.  I am six tattoos and I am considering more.  I am big jewelry and sweat pants.  I am books and language and plot and story.  I am a pianist, a guitarist and an alto.  I am the best darn pancake flipper you’ve ever met.  I am meloncholy and light.  I am contained and unrestrained.  I am never funny when I want to be, but hilarious when I’m not trying.  I am a skinned knee fixer, a diaper changer, and a lover.  I am all shades of blue.  I am always creating, always thinking, always loving.  I am full of wonder and disappointment and joy and fear.  I am just a girl pretending I know who I am, because I am not finished yet.
